Abstract
32-min observational documentary, video: with the kindly participation of Priscilla Presley. A 32-min observational documentary following two Italian musicians chasing their American Dream in Tennessee. Luca Chiappara and Mario Monterosso are two Italian musicians living in Tennessee. To celebrate July 4th together, Mario invites Luca to drive from Nashville to Memphis to record an LP at the legendary Sun Studio as a way to pay tribute to the 50th anniversary of Elvis' first single, "That’s All Right (Mama)". A journey into their past, struggles, hopes and pursuit of their own American Dream. The project is a recipient of the NIAF & Aurelio De Laurentiis Film Prizes and is shot on both digital and Kodak Super8.
