Abstract
In hospitals, efficiency is one of the most pressing issues, particularly in Indian hospitals, where the emergency room is always crowded and it is critical that patients receive treatment as soon as possible, and in this case, the stretcher serves as the vehicle to the patient within the hospital grounds, and hospital staff or someone else is always required for this. At the moment, in order to utilise a stretcher or a chair in the hospital, another person is required to transfer them, which can be an issue for medical employees. It has also been noted that most patients do not return stretchers to their original location after use, but instead leave them someplace else on the site, resulting in stretchers being out of place. It is vital to design a stretcher that requires no additional handling and can transport itself to its actual parking location. This can be accomplished by combining machine learning and the Internet of Things (IoT). Given the above considerations, it is evident that an intelligent stretcher and chair system based on IoT and machine learning is required which is the objective of the patent
