Abstract

Self cleaning toilet*-According to several reports published in various news articles, more than 75% of women go through unitary tract infection (UTI) due to lack of hygiene maintained in the toilet, especially in a western commode. The design proposed here is a unique and novel design of a self-cleaning toilet where the seating area of the commode has a plurality of holes from which water can sink/sprinkle and doesn't stagnant on the seat. The stagnation of water is a major cause of these UTIs, which can sometimes be fatal to women's health.
