Abstract
With the introduction of the new SATS Times Tables Test in primary schools from 2020, I have invented a core resource to support conceptual understanding of learning Times Tables in an engaging and interactive way - this resource is based on the Array and exposes laws and properties of multiplication, and multiplicative reasoning.
It has been piloted in 2017-18 in 20 schools, and I was awarded a seedling fund - a prototype has been made by the Engineering Department and the next phase of mass production begins from May 2018
