Abstract
This article discusses the difficulty and opportunities of curriculum adapting from traditional face-to-face to online learning environments in response to major events that render face-to-face delivery impossible. After a discussion of the rationale, we present two case studies of how curriculum that was delivered face-to-face was adapted and delivered using virtual learning environments and digital platforms, to create an on-line student-cantered learning community.
