Abstract

On 21 February, the last day of its session, the Rajya Sabha passed the Whistleblowers Protection Bill. The Bill had been approved two years earlier in the Lok Sabha. This is an important even, not only because of the implications the new law has for many organisations in the public sector or business organisations dealing with them, but also because of the context in which the Bill was passed.
