The Guidebook for Language Teaching covers some of the key issues in second language teaching. It provides some concrete examples on how to teach grammar, correct errors, develop communicative output tasks, create conditions for interaction and provide L2 learners with comprehensible and meaningful input.
In this sense, this guidebook provides both trainees and more experienced teachers with a better understanding of the interface between second language learning theory and research, and language teaching practices and opportunities to develop and enhance readers’ theoretical and practical understanding of how teachers should approach the way they teach languages in the classroom.
