Abstract

This chapter introduces the edited collection of multifaceted and multi-vocal migratory and academic journeys of Central and Eastern European women academics, and the ways in which they navigate place-making and develop a sense of belonging in Britain and in academia. It explains the origins of the book and discusses each contribution within the three thematic parts that comprise the book.
