Abstract
The article provides useful guidance on how to achieve success at law school. In particular, it explains how to think ahead, how to apply the law and acquire legal writing skills, prepare for exams, make a contribution to the law school and benefit from mentoring and networking to help in career planning. The article also stresses the importance of participating in moots, mock trials and client counselling and pro bono schemes in order to acquire advocacy and conference skills.
