Abstract

The British Society for Phenomenology, Summer Conference, held at the University of Greenwich, 11th - 13th July 2003.

The conference aimed to engender a critical dialogue between the two major critical perspectives within contemporary philosophy of religion and religious studies in the European tradition - phenomenology and naturalism.

Additional Information: [1] A major, three-day residential, international conference, took place 11-13 November 2033, organised by Jim Urpeth on behalf of The British Society for Phenomenology. Over 70 delegates attended. Keynote speakers included Profs Grace Jantzen, Howard Caygill, John Llewelyn, Jeremy Carrette and Rudi Visker. Other prominent speakers included Beatrice Han, Phillip Goodchild and Mark Wrathall. Selected papers from the conference appeared in a collection edited by Jim Urpeth.
