Abstract
A study was undertaken to ascertain the thermal physicochemical properties of the amino acid alanine (Ala). D- and L-α-Ala were sourced from two separate suppliers for comparative purposes.
Additionally, the technique of TSC was evaluated for it’s appropriateness and usefulness in the task of detecting and characterising molecular mobility in low molecular weight (LMW) organic materials; such as those applicable to pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology industries.
