Abstract
This developmental paper examines how research can help create and conceptualise transformative opportunities for marginalised populations, framing the challenge as one of transforming identities by reconstructing habits of social- and material-based action through imaginative inquiry and experimentation, conducted with ethical authenticity. Drawing on pragmatist philosophy, we propose novel conceptual frameworks and practical approaches for understanding and reshaping lived experiences, ultimately advancing an agenda that bridges theoretical insight with meaningful social change.
