Abstract
What are the effects of increasing levels of neoliberalism on students in HE? This paper will argue that whilst a prevailing neoliberal ethos in HE may impact the cognitive aspects of student learning, its impact on students’ views and values during their time spent in HE is far less clear. This paper discusses the extent to which the Business Studies HE pedagogy could play a role in shaping students’ values and outlooks on life.
