Abstract

Centered on enhancing MSc students' qualitative research skills, our innovative practice integrates ChatGPT into a UK university's research methods module. We employ a mix of traditional and digital pedagogies, engaging students in critical thinking through AI-supported activities. Our approach transforms student support, offering insights into ChatGPT's potential for qualitative research, strategies for AI integration, and ethical considerations. This practice contributes to the ongoing discourse on AI in education, preparing students for future careers in an evolving job market.
