Abstract

This article reviews the synthesis and reactivity of bicyclic 6–5 fused heterocyclic systems, with three heteroatoms in the six-membered ring, and one heteroatom in the five-membered ring. The majority of the applications for the compounds detailed within this chapter are for investigations against a biological target. The period of time that this review covers is between the years of 2008 and 2019.
