Abstract

What we set out to do with PRS Workforce Survey: Explore the private rented sector (PRS) regulatory workforce (to support the development of a nationwide course or courses) Capture what is currently happening nationally in local authority PRS regulatory training regardless of which department or team the relevant staff work in, whether it is environmental health, housing or other. Add to the very limited knowledge to date about what PRS regulatory workforce training currently ‘looks like’ nationally and what might be helpful moving forward with training opportunities. Find out who is currently working in this space - Environmental Health Officers / Practitioners as well as 'other staff', defined as anyone currently working as part of the PRS regulatory workforce as a front-line practitioner.
