Abstract

The aim is to showcase different perspectives of Peckham's diverse heritage and includes the oral histories of the local residents. My contribution captures my own personal viewpoints on Peckham extracted from my interview for the South London Gallery's 'Grow Your Own' oral history Project. I analyse change and transformation as an overarching theme to explore events including the murder of Damilola Taylor in 2000.
