Abstract
The evaluation of the project will:
1. Establish whether children and young people taking part in the project achieve significant improvements in compliance and completion of court orders compared to non-participants.
2. Identify whether children and young develop their creative, expressive and musical ability through taking part in this project.
3. Measure any improvements in children and young people's self-efficacy and resilience to challenging circumstances during the course of the project.
4. Highlight self-reported change over time in the skills, knowledge and ability of music education professionals and non-music specific youth and social support professionals in
music based mentoring.
