Abstract

The article explains how concurrent leases can be used to raise finance for landlords. It looks at how concurrent leases can act as security for loans, how breach of covenant can be used as a means to recover possession for redevelopment and how property comprising commercial premises can be excluded from security of tenure with a view to sale at a later date.
