Abstract

The article reviews the law on leases, including whether air space is capable of leasehold ownership, whether a lease could be granted for a term of only a few days or hours, the concept of a tenancy giving rise to either a proprietary interest in land or a merely personal interest, a leasehold interest in a tree, concurrent leases, and whether two partners could grant a lease to themselves.
