Abstract
This spotlight paper addresses financial vulnerability as a specific challenge for countries, organisations and individuals as an aftermath of COVID-19. The paper briefly highlights the economic impact of the pandemic and the financial vulnerability of workers who have lost their jobs as a result. The support networks needed to maintain responsible financial behaviour are also discussed. The spotlight aims to provide practical implications for public and private sector policymakers as they navigate this precarious time in history and chart a way forward for individuals and businesses.
