Abstract

The article comments on New Crane Wharf Freehold Ltd v Dovener(2019) UKUT 98 (LC) on whether a tenant breached a leasehold covenant by failing to grant permission for the landlord to enter the premises. It reviews the facts of the case and the tribunal's approach to whether permission to enter the premises should be given by the tenant before the time and date of the planned visit.
