Abstract

This speech was delivered as part of a round-table on the future of drug policy at the Museum of Drug Policy, and event organised by Release. Funded in 1967, Release is a charity that champions human rights by providing legal advice related to drug laws. The Museum event was a free, weekend-long exhibition that saw a number of stakeholders including academics, members of community organisations, law enforcement, and reform advocates get together to discuss salient issues in drug policy with members of the public.
