Abstract

Chorus Digitalis is a choir of individual synthetic voices including the Cantor Digitalis, a digital instrument controlled with a graphic tablet, developed by the speech lab LIMSI (CNRS, France) (see http://cantordigitalis.limsi.fr/).

The Cantor Digitalis received the first prize of the Margaret Guthman Musical Instrument Competition in 2015.

This video is the live recording of one of the 3 pieces played during the competition: Raga Miyan Ki Malhar, Ektal.

The Cantor Digitalis is accompanied by tablas (indian percussion).
