Abstract

NEDs play significant role in efficient corporate governance. They expertise and business links can bring benefits to the firms, but the full engagement of the NEDs is required to take inclusive advantage of those attributes. The purpose of this paper is to evaluate the role of non-executive directors (NEDs) in corporate governance and compare the NEDs disclosure between selected FTES 100 companies based on contend analysis of Annual Report.
