Abstract
The article considers the recent Court of Appeal decision in Versteegh v Versteegh [2018] EWCA Civ 1050 on the enforceability of prenuptial agreements under English law. It examines the current approach to such agreements and the factors the court will take into account in determining whether to give effect to the parties' agreement. Although legal advice is desirable, it is not essential but the parties must have a full appreciation of the implications of the agreement.
