This talk will cover three principal areas:
1. the discovery of pharmacometabonomics in humans and animals.
2. the use of pharmacometabonomics to predict the outcome of drug treatment in terms of efficacy, safety, drug metabolism and PK, prior to dosing.
3. future prospects for this exciting new area of science.
