Abstract

The article examines whether a secret trust can be constituted by estoppel when a testator changes their will or revokes instructions, thereby frustrating a secret beneficiary's expectations. Considers how an estoppel equity could be satisfied, emphasising the need for proportionality between expectation and detriment.
