Abstract
This chapter will consider the scientific context for current and future threats to biosecurity and the potential consequences people, habitats, and biodiversity. It will begin with highlighting some of the aspects of biophysical environmental change that constitute a risk in terms of biosecurity, including a case udy of the United Kingdom, and then consider what remedial action can be taken to minimise harm.
