Abstract

Across three experimental studies, we revealed a significant impact of placing a label on paper cups with a designated place on recycling behaviour, driven by consumers’ place attachment. We contribute to the understanding of the relationship between place attachment and pro-environmental behaviour by highlighting the mediation role of product-self connection.
