Abstract

This briefing draws on the Sentinel project's collective insights on collaborative working in transdisciplinary partnerships, to support research user engagement and the coproduction of knowledge for sustainable development. The experience of the project team was explored and analysed. Challenges and successes were identified to frame guidance for individual researchers and research partnerships on fostering transdisciplinary research, focusing on project design and structure, governance, and monitoring, evaluation and learning.
