Abstract

Breathing Space are a London based five piece collective. Their evolving sound performance practice fuses voice and experimental instrumentation with techniques of improvisation, deep listening, assemblage and field recordings. They create site specific performances exploring architectural acoustics, uncovering the social and physical resonances to shape content and form. Working outside the traditional performance space they re-imagine place, adding new memory to sites, often encountering unsuspecting audiences.

I regularly collaborate with Breathing Space as technical advisor, creative collaborator, musician, performer, composer and sound designer. Details of various events are in documents attached to this dataset.
