The Eighth Annual Conference of the Friedrich Nietzsche Society, held at the University of Greenwich, 11th - 13th September 1998.

Additional Information: [1] A three-day residential, international conference, organised by Jim Urpeth on behalf of The Friedrich Nietzsche Society, attended by over 60 delegates. An inter-disciplinary conference that brought together Nietzsche scholars, philosophers of religion, theologians and those working in comparative religion and religious studies to consider the nature and contemporary significance of Nietzsche's critical engagement with religion. Selected papers from the conference appeared in publications edited by Jim Urpeth. [2] Conference Abstracts are attached.
