Abstract

In this paper, the mathematical analysis supported by computer simulation is used to find the information capacity of adaptive MIMO OFDM in digital communication systems. Result shows that in additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel, the capacity performance of Least mean square (LMS) is poor while the recursive least square (RLS) shows an increase in capacity as the SNR increases. The joint channel parameters estimation in adaptive MIMO OFDM shows a 2dB SNR gain at BER of 10-5 when compared to individual parameter estimation.
