Abstract

How nature is reclaiming a shingle spit (Orford Ness) from a century of military use from the First World War Royal Flying Corp airfield, to an inter-war bombing range, to being used to experiment with the high explosive trigger for the British nuclear bomb to the 1960 Cobra over the horizon radar installation. How the National Trust is managing this nature reserve.
