Abstract

This extensive monograph on the up-and-coming Danish office founded in 2001 and recently attracting a great deal of international attention focuses on the crucial element of drawing and the complex role it plays in the firms ideology and work. Critical to the design process, drawing enables CEBRA to mutate and adapt according to the changing circumstances within each unique project. Numerous concepts and realised projects are detailed, including Isbjerget Housing, Søgaard Skole, Villa UpDown and Cinemaxx Aarhus. With critical texts by Silvio Carta, Samantha Heringuez, Michiel Riedijk, Federica Pau, Martin Søberg, Pablo Núñez and Jeppe Utzon.
