Abstract

The dynamic behaviour of a delay two-species competitive system controlled by means of impulsive harvesting and stocking controls is investigated. By using techniques derived from the theory of impulsive differential equations, sufficient conditions for both persistence and partial extinction are established, respectively. It was shown that the impulsive controls play important roles in shaping the dynamics. Numerical simulations are presented to substantiate the analytical results.
