Abstract

Editorial - The article discusses key features of the uncommenced Part 3 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016, allowing residential landlords to recover possession of abandoned premises without a court order, including its warning notice procedure. It suggests why serving notice under s.21 of the Housing Act 1988 may still be advisable.
