Abstract

In this video, NRI's Dr Marcelo Precoppe, a Crop Postharvest Technologist with expertise in the engineering design process, presents an innovative winch press designed to ease the dewatering stage in cassava processing. The press was built in Ghana where it is being tested. The research was undertaken as part of the CGIAR Research Program on Roots, Tubers and Bananas (RTB).
