Abstract
This text is the introduction to a live-streamed public seminar featuring the vice president and general manager of the The O2 arena, London held (online) at the University of Greenwich, London. The O2 arena is the busiest live music venue in the world. Now in its second year, the Covid-19 pandemic has frozen the live entertainment and performing arts sectors. Recent government announcements in the UK have signaled the phased re-opening of economy in the coming months. The seminar thus is a timely insight from a leading firm in the global live entertainment industry. The introduction frames the talk using a variety of statistics and impact factors.
