Abstract

The diagram of the Department of Architecture and Landscape, University of Greenwich, is a four-dimensional spatialisation of some of its histories, theories and futures. It is the first iteration of an ongoing project to continuously, generatively and interactively understand, reflect on and redesign the department’s conceptual and actual architectures. Addressing its morphing temporal and theoretical positions in architecture, design and education, the diagram re-describes the explicit and actual, as well as the possible, implicit and latent sources and locations of its innovation, originality, newness and uniqueness.
