Abstract
Eastside Projects; Virtual and Visualised was funded by the Arts Council’s Digital Content Development programme (£29k) to produce and evolve an online version of Eastside Projects in Birmingham. The project employed a number of artists to work with the gallery to replicate online the ideas and ethos informing this artist-led space in Birmingham. The project featured on the Arts Council’s DCD website as an example of good practice. This led to a published paper for the EVA conference, London in July, 2010 and an essay in lead artist Michael Magruder’s book ‘RE-MEDIATIONS’, 2012.
