Blood glucose monitoring using microwave cavity perturbation
Dobson, R., Wu, R. and Callaghan, P. (2012) Blood glucose monitoring using microwave cavity perturbation. Electronics Letters, 48 (15). pp. 905-906. ISSN 0013-5194Full text not available from this repository.
An outline is presented of the design and preliminary tests of a method for tracking blood glucose levels using dielectric spectroscopy. The system designed uses a microwave cavity to measure the concentration of aqueous solutions of glucose, as a change in complex permittivity. The results of this research are very promising, finding frequency regions where only a single frequency needs to be applied to measure a change, allowing easy implementation of a practical system.
