If strategic planning in Mid Glamorgan is to have a favourable economic impact in the county it has to be conducted in harness with `industry task forces' and various agencies in Mid Glamorgan interested in economic development. Thus, ensuring that planning is not limited to physical planning but that the industrial base is also planned.
