    Abstract

    This presentation aims to offer insights on the conceptualisation of sustainability. It does so by:
    a) drawing on Lobina, E. (forthcoming, 2012) Water Service Governance, Technological Change and Paradigm Shifts: A conceptual framework, in International Journal of Water. Accepted for publication: 26 August 2011; expected publication date: early 2012; and,
    b) illustrating work in progress on "The Sustainability of Urban Water Service Reform".
