Abstract

An article suggesting that revocable gifts in the context of not only testamentary promises, but also secret trusts and death bed gifts, are capable of binding the testator/donor in circumstances where the intended beneficiary has acted on the faith of the gift in such a way as to raise an estoppel in his favour.
