Abstract

The article discusses problems arising from discontinuous leases, and whether those involving commercial premises are protected by Part II of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954. In particular, it examines the challenge of showing the length of term, the need to demonstrate business occupation, and how to calculate notice periods.
