Abstract
This chapter addresses a knowledge gap by providing a bibliometric analysis that combines the search terms “smart destination" and "sustainable destination”, which are seen as complementary and key to the development of integrated tourism strategies (Sousa et al., 2022). Some 153 articles published in Web of Science (WoS) were analysed using SciMAT and VOS Viewer.
