Abstract

CLFR are a series of roundtable discussions organised with the Landscape Architecture and Urbanism Department at the University of Greenwich. These have been set up to critically reflect on how we live, connect and share better and to interrogate our role is as landscape and urban practitioners.

These round tables investigate the relationships between landscape practices and the interconnected issues of race, gender, extraction, and the economic/ environmental crisis, with each roundtable exploring a particular issue as it relates to the future of designing landscapes and cities. In order to disrupt traditional hierarchies these discussions are held between students, alumni, tutors and external professionals all sharing ideas for how we can collectively build a fairer world.

The audio is recorded and the transcripts prepared for dissemination either through an online platform or physical exhibition
