Abstract

The article comments on Keshwala v Bhalsod [2021] EWCA Civ 492 on the relevance of a tenant's delay in seeking relief from forfeiture for non-payment of rent following peaceable re-entry, whether the tenant would be treated as having acted reasonably promptly if he applied within six months, and other relevant factors.
